I was sooo excited when I saw a new book would come out, this time featuring the little Snicket, and how everything started.
I loved the pictures, they just complement the story and make it even better.
It was a fun book, I had some laughs, and also was cheering for Snicket.
I can’t wait for more books!
Though I don’t know much about the Amish, I felt like they gave a good portrayal of how life goes there.
The vampires where really scary, and I know I had a few nights with less sleep. 🙁
As soon as book 2 gets a paperback I will be pre-ordering it, and I can wait to read it. 🙂
I never will read the Fifty Shades books, but I was really interesting in a parody book about it.
And what a ride. Like I was reading some superhero comic that added sex and romance and silliness mixed together in one colourful blend.
Some things were just unbelievable, but all in all it was an interesting and fun read.
Loved the twilight references/parodies, really silly. Also finding/reading all the references/parodies was interesting. 🙂
I might even try the second book (whenever it comes out).
I would recommend it to everyone (though I wouldn’t suggest it to people under 18, there are enough scenes that are quite graphic).
Wow what a story. I didn’t expect most of the stuff that happened. I just expected a story about a boy who gets turned to vampire and has to live with it, I got the first part. But with that also action, more vampires, the lead character changing and lots more.
The last part of the book just went by in superspeed, lots of action, questions being answered.
Though the really last part was a bit confusing and I hoped for more answers. How is it going with Jay and Abby, how is Sejal or Cat?
Sadly the middle part of the book was quite confusing as the focus shifted from our lead character Doug to multiple other people.
**warning to all for the version with ISBN: 9781849015899* Don’t read the introduction!!
Great the Introduction of the book spoiled the whole book for me. They tell us exactly what happens and what the end is. Which is a shame, I never saw the movie or read the book and now I don’t really feel like reading because I know what happened. I wanted to have a nice horror/mystery book and looked forward to reading it.
