I really liked Suzume, she was a really interesting character, though also a bit bland and boring. Luckily it only took a few chapters for her to become more interesting and now, well I like her.
The illustrations/art is really nicely done, I love how the characters are drawn.
I absolutely loved it when Suzume smacked some sense in that mean girl. God I hate girls like that who pretend to befriend someone, act all friendly and happy and then do something mean like giving her wrong information/directions. And all because of a boy… Urgh. Our mean girl should just trust her own abilities, I am sure she is able to chat with Mamura if she just went to him and chatted with him.
Still lovely that Suzume stayed friends with her. 🙂
OMG I loved the make-over, wow Suzume looks so beautiful and pretty. She should have her hair like that more often, way better than those braids she is always wearing. 🙂
And at the last 2 chapters we finally get some romance in. Both Sensei and Mamura seem to be highly interested in Suzume, and Suzume seems to have her eyes set on Sensei. I am really curious as to how this will work out.
Thanks Dee Dee for recommending this manga. I really enjoyed the first volume.
