I really liked this book. It had dragons, goddesses, Rome, architecture, time travelling and more! I especially liked that we had dragons/goddesses, it made the story even better and gave it a nice touch. Of course, why are there Dragons and goddesses, but you will find out when you read the story.
Once again, the book is told from two point of views. Dawk and Hype. And once again I can say I like Hype’s point of view more. I especially liked the parts where she went off to discover more about the dragon and got taken hostage (or something like that) and of course flying the dragon.
I am so with both Dawk and Hype about olives. I can only imagine how horrible it is when you are forced to eat something you don’t like, and that daily, at every meal, or every snack.
I also loved that the setting is in Rome, I love the history of Rome so I had lots of fun reading about it in this book.
Unlike many books about time travel, this one is fairly simple and easy. There are no big explanations or anything, it just happens. So +1 for that, a lot of time travel books make it just too difficult and take away the fun with those explanations.
Thanks John Seven, for allowing me to read this book. I will be looking forward to the rest of the series.
And I will recommend this book to everyone!
