Last Sunday I went to a Children/YA book market/event in The Hague. I met some Dutch authors, publishers and of course bought quite a few books! I also bought merchandise (bookmark, mug and bags) and got some swag (bookmarks mostly).
The whole week I didn’t have time to make a post, but today I got some time, so I will be sharing what I bought (books only). The books are in German, English and in Dutch, a real interesting mix.
Ik blijf bij jou by Marie-Louise Sekrève and Mark Sekrève (Dutch)
De Jongen Uit Het Woud by Jen Minkman (Dutch)
A Certain Scientific Railgun Vol.06 by Kazuma Kamachi and Motoi Fuyukawa (English)
The Ghost Prison by Joseph Delaney (English)
Review of My Cat by Tanner Ringerud (English)
Codenaam Coco by Carmen Reid (Dutch)
Kick Fearless by Mariëtte Ciggaar (Dutch)
Through the Zombie Glass by Gena Showalter (English)
The Book Of Lost Things by Cynthia Voigt (English)
Die Seiten Der Welt by Kai Meyer (German)
Lindbergh: Die abenteuerliche Geschichte einer fliegenden Maus by Torben Kuhlmann (German)
And because I want to share, here are some pictures of my new book-ish merchandise!
It was a really fun day (though tiring), and I can’t wait for next year. Hopefully then I will get to see Kevin Brooks, he was, sadly, sick (found out while at the book market/event).
