Waiting on Wednesday ~ With Malice

Waiting on Wednesday ~ With Malice

Hello all!

How is everyone doing this week? Reading, or doing anything fun?
As for me, I am doing great, enjoying the weather (though it is a bit stuffy because of the high humidity here), and I am totally addicted to a game that I was waiting for and finally was released and in the stores: Yo-Kai Watch. I really can’t put that down, and I have noticed that I just can’t get through books because I just want to play and see what happens in the game. 😀

This week I got a book that reminds me a bit of another writer’s books, I am hoping it is just as awesome as those. 🙂

So what are you all waiting for this Wednesday?

This is the one I am just waiting for to come out (just a bit less than a month to go)

26153925A read about a teenage girl who wakes up in a hospital bed and cannot remember the last six weeks of her life, including the accident that killed her best friend–only what if the accident wasn’t an accident?

Eighteen-year-old Jill Charron wakes up in a hospital room, leg in a cast, stitches in her face and a big blank canvas where the last 6 weeks should be. She comes to discover she was involved in a fatal accident while on a school trip in Italy three days previous but was jetted home by her affluent father in order to receive quality care. Care that includes a lawyer. And a press team. Because maybe the accident…wasn’t an accident. Wondering not just what happened but what she did, Jill tries to piece together the events of the past six weeks before she loses her thin hold on her once-perfect life.

So why do I really want to read this book?

Well lets see I am always looking for a new thriller/horror book to enjoy, and this one sounds right up my alley. The book blurb (and also the cover) remind me a bit of Rebecca James’ books, so I am curious to see if it is the same awesomeness even though it is not the same writer.
And that blurb just sounds so exciting, I just want to know what happened, and what will happen to our MC.
Also definitely bonus points (a lot) to the amazing cover.
