Review for Uchi no Maou Kamimasen yo Vol.4
Nooooooo. is sad This was the last volume in the series.
And yes, I did feel that the ending was a bit rushed. There was enough build-up for it, but then it ends that easily. 🙁 Or maybe it is just that I don’t want this series to end yet. I want to keep seeing Satan, seeing him make silly mistakes, act like he is not grown-up. I want to see our MC, I want to see his family. The 4 Devas. Darn, I will so miss this series. 🙁
In this book we also finally find out what really happened to our MC, and why his leg got busted up. Gosh, that really teared me up. 🙁 Poor MC (for losing that what he loved doing, for losing his dream), poor Satan (as it was his fault, as he knew he destroyed his owner’s dream). We do find out that our MC didn’t have to do that what he did, but later he says something that brought even more tears to me.
We also meet several new characters, we have several funny situations going on (like Satan getting a bracelet and turning evil, or him going on a diet). I loved that even side characters got a good story and a good portion of the spotlight. I was just tearing up so much during the whole part with Futaba. And then laughed so hard at the ending of that story.
I will definitely miss this series a whole lot, but it was a great ride, and I did have a lot of fun. Satan is a wonderful character. I loved idea of having pets like this. You could have anything you wanted, maybe if you were lucky you get Satan. 😛
The art also stayed consistently great, and I loved how the characters were drawn, especially Satan’s expressions were just brilliance.
All in all, this is a series I would highly recommend to everyone! This series will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you love the characters.
