Molly gets a little sister, she wishes she was just the same as here, but Chloe is totally different. Instead of drawing she eats crayons. Instead of reading she just rips the books (nooooooooooooo where are the parents?). At first I thought this would become a book full of comparisons on how the sisters were different, but, thankfully, it turns out to be much more.
Molly discovers something about her little sister, and her little sister also finds something out about her big sister. I won’t spoil anything, but I was definitely going Awwwww when it happened. So sweet! I am so happy for both of them.
Now that I finished the book I can say I love the format, it shows you Molly’s world and shows that she just wants a sister with whom she can play and have fun. We see stuff go wrong, and then something happens that changes everything.
The art is super colourful, really it is a big rainbow splashed all over the pages. I also love the style of the art. It is cute, and it fits the book.
All in all, a sweet, cute book about sisters. About love. About finding out that maybe you can all just have fun together.
