Hi everyone!

I was totally fangirling when I saw that Sibéal Pounder has a new series coming out, with the first book hitting the shelves in June. I just adored her Witch Wars series, and was already hoping she would be writing more books when that series ended.

Instead of witches we now have mermaids! I can always use more mermaid stories, especially ones about bad mermaids, and good mermaids having to stop them! Don’t forget about the clam cars, or the piranha problem (I am quite curious about that). Plus I am loving that cover, if it is any indication on the illustrations (since I am guessing it will have those), Jason Crockroft will have a new fan. 🙂

Something is rotten in the city of Swirlyshell. Could be the oysters.

Mermaids Beattie, Mimi and Zelda are enjoying a summer on land with legs when they receive a strange CRABAGRAM ordering them to return home at once. Some seriously BAD MERMAIDS are on the loose and the girls are the only ones who can stop them.

If they’re going to save the day, they’ll need answers. And a clam car. Definitely piranha-print nail polish. Possibly not the talking seahorse.
