Today I have a book that everyone knows, or at least a lot of people know. Harry Potter! The 3rd Illustrated Edition has just come out, and I got it pre-ordered. According to the mail I got from Amazon I don’t need to wait much longer for the book to arrive. It is set to arrive on October 13th (yes, what a day for a HP book to be delivered). But I still wanted to feature it on my blog, as I have been waiting for quite some time, ever since the book was announced on Twitter, ever since I heard the whole series of HP would get Illustrated Editions featuring the gorgeous art by Jim Kay.
I can’t wait to read, or should I say re-read, the book again, this time accompanied by gorgeous illustrations. I can’t wait to see what parts of the book Jim Kay has illustrated. How well he keeps capturing the world of HP.
Just a few days more! Hopefully I can be patient. (No wait, I can’t. :P)
For twelve long years, the dread fortress of Azkaban held an infamous prisoner named Sirius Black. Convicted of killing thirteen people with a single curse, he was said to be the heir apparent to the Dark Lord, Voldemort.
Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed: Harry Potter’s defeat of You-Know-Who was Black’s downfall as well. And the Azkaban guards heard Black muttering in his sleep, “He’s at Hogwarts… he’s at Hogwarts.”
Harry Potter isn’t safe, not even within the walls of his magical school, surrounded by his friends. Because on top of it all, there may well be a traitor in their midst.
