Review for 50 Wacky Things Humans Do

Review for 50 Wacky Things Humans Do

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

This book looked amazingly fun and cute, so I just had to request it! And I am delighted that I did. Each part has two pages, one with a big (and adorable) illustration the next page tells us about the wacky/amazing thing, and then also gives us a bit of extra information (either directly related to it or something similar) or a fun experiment to try out for yourself (I am going to try that 30 seconds door frame one soon).

A lot of wacky things pass by, from boogers (and what purpose they serve) to brain freeze to why babies have such big eyes. It was all very much interesting to read, and I even learned some newer things while reading.

I also liked that, sporadically, metric was added to the imperial. Not always, sadly, but thankfully more than most books.

I would have liked categories though. There were some topics that could have easily fitted together instead of pages and pages away from each other.

As I said the illustrations were adorable, I really loved the style and how colourful they were. The fitted perfectly and often captured the wacky thing perfectly. 😛

All in all, this is one book I would recommend! I am sure kids will adore it.
