Waiting on Wednesday (Special Edition) ~ Reindeer Boy

Hi everyone!

Yes, as you can see this is a special edition of the Waiting on Wednesday. For the coming 3 weeks I will post 3 books that I am dying to read and that I am hoping I will get on Christmas. Of course I have tons more books I want, but I will list a 3 books from my Top 10.

Though I won’t make a WoW for my top 2 choices, as those WoW’s would be a bit boring (as I would not say much other than: OMG (insert title)) or you guys would go deaf due to my fangirling. What books they are? The Harry Potter books that go with the exhibition in London.

But no worries, that still leaves 8 books, and it will be hard enough to figure out what books I will select from there. For today’s post I have chosen Reindeer Boy, a comic/graphic novel by Cassandra Jean. I spotted this book at the bookstore and just fell in love when I flipped through the pages. But I restrained myself from buying it as I thought this would a perfect gift to get (though it was very hard to leave it).
I adore C.J’s art, she just has an amazing art style, it just pulls you in immediately, her characters just look WOW. And not only that, but I am also in love with the story. Dreams, magic, a boy with antlers, romance, and more.

So dear Santa, if you read this, this one is #5 on my list.

Quincy has the same dream every year on Christmas Eve – of finding a little boy holding a special gift for her under the tree – and every Christmas morning, she’s awoken to find a gift wrapped in tinfoil with her name on it…

When school resumes after the winter break, Quincy’s class discovers they have an unusual new transfer student named Cupid. Ridiculously cute and friendly, the new boy has everyone both enamored and confused. Those antlers can’t be real…can they?? With Cupid having seemingly set his sights on Quincy, it seems she’ll be having a memorable year indeed!
