Welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday! I am sure you guys are all curious if I got the books I showed in WoW for my birthday… Well, you will have to wait until Friday! I am currently on a trip to London and I won’t get my birthday presents until I get back (yep, I have to wait!). 😛
For today’s WoW I picked a book that I hope is going to be really good. I just need a good horror book in my life, and this one combines horror and space and sounds positively creepy as these people have no way to flee, they just have to try to work together and try to get out safely.
Also I just adore that last sentence in the blurb. <3
Tuck has been in stasis on the USS John Muir, a ship that houses Earth’s most valued artifacts—its natural resources. Parks and mountains are preserved in space.
Laura belongs to a shipraiding family, who are funded by a group used to getting what they want. And they want what’s on the Muir.
Tuck and Laura didn’t bargain on working together, or battling mutant aliens who use sound to kill. But their plan is the only hope for their crews, their families, and themselves.
In space, nobody can hear you scream . . . but on the John Muir, the screams are the last thing you’ll hear.
