Blog Tour ~ At Woods Edge by E.M. Fitch ~ Guest Post + Giveaway

Hello and morning all,

Welcome to the Blog Tour for the newest book book E.M. Fitch: At Woods Edge! You all may remember that I also helped revealing the cover to this book back in February. Imagine my delight when I was also chosen to host the Blog Tour with a fun guest post!

So for today’s post I got information on book/author, a nice guest post, and a giveaway.

twirlsTime to get this tour started.

It’s only a matter of time before he gets what he’s come for.

Cassie Harris has turned her back on best friend Laney Blake. She had no other choice. Laney is one of them now, a creature of the trees. As Cassie’s senior year wears on, the woods grow quiet, snow blankets the ground, and the murderous beings who once taunted her have drifted away like the brittle leaves of Fall. Though the woods no longer stir with rushed whispers and wind-blown laughter, the fear remains.

No one understands this fear better than Cassie. She wishes she could tell them not to worry. After all, the shape-shifting men of the trees and the women who travel with them, seeking out girls to abduct from carnivals, are gone. And the one that stayed behind? He isn’t interested in anyone but her.

Now, Aidan’s interest in Cassie is a chilling reminder of the what lurks at woods edge. He stalks her home, her school, her bedroom. He won’t stop until he can find a way to lure Cassie into the forest to become one with him forever.

Guest Post! On why we’ll love the book. Thanks to the author for writing this post! ❤️

At Woods Edge is the sequel to the YA Dark Fantasy novel, Of The Trees. This second novel takes the tension from Of The Trees and twists it together with some urban legend and campfire-tale scares you won’t soon forget. The last remaining monster from Of The Trees, Aidan, still lurks at woods edge, attempting to lure Cassie into the forest to join him forever. She will be haunted not only by this terrifying monster, a creature she alone can see, but also by the uncertainty of what truly acknowledging his presence might mean for her. Cassie will weigh the cost of safety, and have to determine if it’s worth compromising herself and all she truly loves.

If you love dark and haunting fiction, this is the story for you. If you grew up telling ghost stories around the campfire, or trying to scare your friends with urban legends, I hope you give this novel a try. I can promise you chilling encounters, a questioning of reality, and at least one heart-stopping moment deep in the woods under the light of a firework display. And if you’re one of the many who read Of The Trees and questioned, “But what are they?!” I can promise you that question will be answered.

I hope you’ll join me in the woods.
