Library Haul 19-5-2018

Evening everyone,

And a happy weekend! Today was just amazing. First up Library #2 to pick up my 11 reservations. I still had room for 2 more books which I quickly found (one book about Escher, and one comic). While picking up my reservations I found out that the privacy law that is coming in Europe is also affecting Library reservations. My first name was shortened to one letter, and my last name to 3. And apparently if there is someone with the same letters (because hey, that happens), they just censor out most of your name instead. 😛 I never expected to see that privacy law extend to the library and I have to say I was a bit confused about seeing my name shortened to just a few letters.

Then off to library #3 to bring back my old books, check the new releases tables, and then into the city for some shopping (as I needed a new lightbulb for my sewing machine (after 12+ years it finally poofed), and my town doesn’t have a sewing shop any more so Library #3’s city it is) and wandering around. My boyfriend spoiled me! I spotted several books and he bought them all. Thanks sweetheart! You can check my twitter for what I got, as soon as I finish this post I will post pictures.

Then to Library #3 to check if I could find some books, and I did! I am so delighted that in their small collection they added Love, Hate & Other Filters, I have been meaning to read that one.
Gena & Finn, I tried that one in English, but wasn’t too impressed, hopefully I will like it more in Dutch. And then there are a ton of new comics, including an Elsje I hadn’t read, and a new Cedric!

I still need to add several books/comics to Goodreads. I am just too tired to add them all, so I only added a handful. Maybe tomorrow I will add the rest.

Stats; 25 new books. 12 comics, 6 non-fiction, and 7 fiction.
