Happiest of weekends to all! Today was a fun visit to Library #2, and also a community “day” for Pokemon Go (I got 5 shinies!).
I only had 4 reservations waiting for me, and I had 5 books still at home (should get to reading them), so I had room for 6 books. Which meant I could wander around the library a bit, poke at both of the new releases tables (non-fiction/adult and children books). I found 3 new releases! Then wandering around some more I found one more book (about castles and ghosts).
I do hope that their system of transporting books from one branch to another starts up soon again, it seems there are some issues. I got some reservations of books that are in the other branch, but it takes 2 weeks now before it is finally brought to the branch I always visit (and where it is supposed to go). While normally this would take 1 or 2 days, maybe a week if it is a busy holiday season. 🙁
But at least I found books! Yay!
Stats; 8 books. 2 picture books, 3 non-fiction, 3 fiction.
