Library Haul 3-11-2018

Evening all,

Happy weekend everyone! Today was a Library #2 and Library #3 visit. A bit early on the Library #3 front, but we had to go to that city as we had an appointment regarding our new house (eeeep), so we decided a library visit could also happen (yay).

First up Library #2, to pick up my 3 reservations and also to grab the rest of the new (well, new to me) series by Jessica Clare I started reading on Wednesday. Oh, and not to forget the Nederland Leest (The Netherlands reads/is reading) free book, which took a bit longer as there were at least 4 different covers (dead fish, sandwich, hot dog, and some other food I didn’t recognise). In the end I asked my fiance’s opinion and he said the hot dog was the best. 🙂

Off to Library #3, bring back the old books, drool over a new book (which was way too heavy, so we couldn’t bring it with us, and then it was loaned out when we got back after a few hours, I will just have to hope it will be at Library #3 when I get back in 3 weeks). I am a bit sad to say that once again, there weren’t really many new books at the Children’s/YA section. I did find one new book, and an older book (which I believe I may have gotten at one point in the past years). I really do hope that there will be more new books in the future, because I am just not enjoying my visits to the library now. Don’t get me wrong, I love comics, but I also want some novels. Plus, with me having to go to the comics department so many times the choices are getting more and more limited. 🙁

Oh, and the book-world is a small world! I was tapped on my shoulder and asked if I could find everything, and saw someone from Library #1! I met her last Wednesday during an event there (more details as soon as I get the pictures), apparently she also works at Library #3.

So, even though I am a bit disappointed, I am still excited to read the books I have gotten today.

Stats: 22 books. 3 non-fiction, 10 comics/graphic novels, 9 fiction.

NOTE: I still need to add some books to Goodreads, I will do that when I read them (since sometimes I add them and don’t read them/or try and don’t like them).
