I just love the series Riverdale, though I really need to get on with watching it. I started with season 2, and then somewhere stopped, not sure why. Probably wasn’t in the mood for it anymore. But this handbook is definitely making me want to continue watching. I do want to add a warning, this one has tons of spoilers to events happening in the first season and also some spoilers of earlier episodes in season 2.
Now to the book, I just adore books like this. You can see the handbook as it is, which was already fun (as I can’t even remember ever having such a handbook in my high school). I loved reading about the school, about the teachers, the subjects. But then there are the edits. Things crossed out, words added, hearts drawn, and more. The edits made it all even more fun. We saw the lockers of our main cast, we saw letters and notes and photographs, every page had something. You find out about the town, about several characters from there (like the parents).
I just wish it was a bit clearer who was editing. At times I had a suspicion, and some did have a certain flair that you knew it was x character, but still it would have been more fun if the characters used different colours.
All in all, I flew through this book, had oh oh oh so much fun, and I loved seeing the characters again. I would definitely recommend this book to all the fans of the series. This is definitely one book you don’t want to miss out on.
