Waiting on Wednesday ~ Click
Evening everyone,

Welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday, this time about a popular girl who clicks with everyone, until the moment the variety show comes up and our girl is stranded. The premise sounds very interesting, though I do wonder how her friends just seemed to have “forgotten” her. Why didn’t anyone ask her? Oh well, I guess otherwise we wouldn’t have had this book, and then the MC wouldn’t have found that one thing she loves and what place belongs to her (as I am guessing that is what is going to happen, I have read other books that have a similar-ish premise).
Also, I adore that this one is a graphic novel! I am always looking around for more graphic novels to read, and I am always delighted to see a graphic novel for children.
Oh, and the cover lover I am, I do like the cover. How her friends are still looking out for her, encouraging her from the stage.
A debut graphic novel about friendship and finding where you “click” in school.
Olive wants to get in on the act . . .
. . . Any act!Olive “clicks” with everyone in the fifth grade—until one day she doesn’t. When a school variety show leaves Olive stranded without an act to join, she begins to panic, wondering why all her friends have already formed their own groups . . . without her. With the performance drawing closer by the minute, will Olive be able to find her own place in the show before the curtain comes up?
