Hi hi everyone!
It wasn’t such a good weather, but I was out anyway and needed to get some things I could only get in the city centre, so it was time to visit Library #1!
It was quite calm today, still quite a few people, but not as much as last time. Normally I don’t mind it that much, but I am just so tired and I got a big headache that I would like some calm and quiet. I had fun wandering around the library and looking in all my favourite spots to see if there were new books there. And yes. There were books. Quite soon I was holding a nice stack of books and I was excited to go home and open one.
For one book I had to do some effort, it is a Christmas book and they put those away in another place when it isn’t Christmas, so I had to ask the librarian if it was possible to get it, or did I have to wait until Christmas. She laughed and told me that it was OK, and that she would grab the book. 🙂 After a bit she popped up again with a very glittery book.
So, great haul! And I am even more delighted that most of my haul today is English. I could use some more English books in my life.
Oh, and I am hoping that next time I may get that book I have been eyeing but that is constantly loaned out. I would reserve it.. but Library #1 asks for a 1.50 euro amount to reserve books. 🙁 So I will just keep on checking. crosses fingers
