Waiting on Wednesday ~ Last Kids on Earth Survival Guide

Waiting on Wednesday ~ Last Kids on Earth Survival Guide

Evening all,

Phew, just in time for Waiting on Wednesday. Still got 20/25 minutes left. 😛 Sorry, got very much distracted by all sorts of things. Welcome guys, welcome to a new WoW.

This week I got a book I am very hyped about namely a survival guide for Last Kids on Earth. A series I am highly invested in, though I am a bit behind. That doesn’t stop me from drooling over this book. I can’t wait to see what kind of survival tips there are, what kind of exercises we get (and what it means that they are based on the characters), I want to see the inventions and help them design a hang-out (though I am sorry I am an adult so it will also be one for me). Plus I hope it is filled to the brim with fantastic illustrations just like the whole series has had.

I always love it when a series get companion books. Survival guides or a guide to beasts/potions/the world or anything to expand the world further and gives us a glimpse into characters. Yes, I was absolutely squealing when I heard about this book, I have been hoping the series would get this book right after I finished the first book.

You’ve read all about the Last Kids on Earth’s adventures in the post-zombie-monster-apocalypse, and now it’s time to get in on the action! In this interactive journal, readers will feel like they’re part of the Last Kids world by taking part in creative exercises that are based on the characters and settings that they’ve come to know so well. They’ll draw their own inventions in Quint’s workshop, design their perfect kids-only hangout that will rival Jack’s treehouse, put together their dream post-apocalyptic warrior outfits and weapons that will give the Louisville Slicer a run for its money, imagine themselves and their friends as zombies, and so much more. The perfect creative outlet for every Last Kids fan.
