Library Haul 17-7-2019
Hi all,
Welcome to a brand-new Library #1 haul! Yesterday evening I decided to pop by Library #1. They are open, at least for now, until 11pm on weekdays! My husband had to go to the city to meet up with his best friend and I decided to bicycle with him so I could visit Library 1 and grab some books and then head home again. After all I had finished my books (or most of them) + next week my vacation starts and I did want some extra books to bring with me or read right away.
When I entered there was apparently a concert going on… eh. Sorry, just not a fan of music in a library, I want some peace and quiet. Thankfully, the concert was over after 10 minutes and it was delightfully peaceful after that. I do love a library during the evening. No running and screaming kids who think the library is a playground, plus there aren’t as many people as normally. Lovely! I may consider doing this more often, at least in the spring/summer when it is still light in the evenings. I am not sure if I feel comfortable riding those roads, alone, during the evening when it is dark.
I had a lot of fun walking around the library and hunting for books, I totally forgot the time though. 😛 In the end I found books in all my favourite spots! I can’t wait to get reading, oh and I hope that the library will get book #2 of that Miranda Hillers, as they now have book 1, 3, 4.
