Library Haul 22-8-2019

Evening all,

Welcome to a brand-new Library #1 Haul. I was so happy I could visit the library again, the last time I went was 11 days before my vacation started, so it has been some time since I last visited. I could use some brand-new books and check out if anything changed at the library.

I still hadn’t read 3 of the books I got from the library (which I planned to read during my vacation), but given I am not/haven’t been in a romance mood in some time + I only have an 8 book limit, I decided to bring them back as well. That would mean I would have plenty of room to bring with me some new (hopefully) gems to read.

Despite it still being vacation time in my part of the country (and also North part for 3 more days) it was silent in the library. Just a few people here and there. Pure bliss! I just love it when the library is all quiet and I can just wander around looking for new books in peace. I went to all my favourite spots and kept adding to my growing pile of books to bring home with me. Eventually I decided to drop them in my book bag as it got quite heavy. 😛 The difficulties of loving books. grins

I am very excited to have found the newest Bolds book as I have been super eager to read it, however unlike previous times the paperback won’t be released until next year… I was already wondering how I would ever get through another year while knowing the hardcover is out. Thankfully Library #1 solved that problem for me. I am so glad that they are trying their best with adding more English books, and new ones at that. I can’t wait to start reading it, it is definitely on the top of my list. I am also delighted to have spotted Toffee in English, so far I spotted it in Dutch, but I want to read these kind of books (English) in their original language. I have heard a lot about the book, and while it is poetry, I still want to read it so so much.

So I got a big pile of books to read and I can’t wait to get started. First got to finish that book on my ereader but after that I will probably dig into this pile.

Oh, and could you guys please cross your fingers and hope for me? I signed myself up for an event at this library, something I joined in last year as well, and I would like to participate again, but they only pick a couple of people. So I could use all the good luck! Thanks guys!
