Library Haul 17-10-2019

Hi all!

Great weather, some free time, and so I had to visit Library #1 again! Sadly, the haul was a bit of a disappointed but I am still delighted that I went today.

Of course, I didn’t know when I went that my haul may be disappointing. I had fun browsing through various shelves and checking the new book sessions.

In the mean time I was delighted to see a big group of young adult with Down Syndrome (hope that is the right word/use of the word) picking up new books and doing that with the biggest pleasure. Some even started already reading their books while their classmates were still browsing. When I got back to the children’s book department later on they were all done and their chaperone/teacher had piled all their books on one giant stack. It was pretty fun, I am happy that they get the chance to go out to the library and do this. I really hope that this comes across as I want to. I am so much better in saying stuff in Dutch at times.

Anyway, back to me browsing and wandering around. I still did find books I am very excited about and I can’t wait to start reading them. I wonder which one I will read first. Maybe the monster book, or maybe the Stepsister one? Which one do you guys think I should read first?

Stats: 4 books. All fiction.

Stepsister by Jennifer Donnely
De zee van monsters; GN by Rick Riordan
De grote monster atlas by Federica Magrin, Laura Brenilla
Op zoek naar de blauwe wortel by Sébastien Telleschi
