Happy Wednesday (can you believe it is already Wednesday?) and welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday~ This week a book I have been hoping to read since June this year: When I Arrived at the Castle by Emily Carroll.
I just adored Emily Carroll’s previous horror graphic novel: Through The Woods, it was spooky, creepy, full of horror. So when I learned of her new book, also filled with horror, but also some f/f love I knew I needed it in my life. Sadly, due to various things I haven’t been able to get it just yet. Crossing my fingers I may get it soon, sadly not in time for Halloween, but oh well I can always re-read it next year then.
Also the cover is delightful. Sexy, scary, and oh my blood~
“A castle, a killer, and prey all bound and blurred by lust and blood.”
Like many before her that have never come back, she’s made it to the Countess’ castle determined to snuff out the horror, but she could never be prepared for what hides within its turrets; what unfurls under its fluttering flags. Emily Carroll has fashioned a rich gothic horror charged with eroticism that doesn’t just make your skin crawl, it crawls into it.
