Last month I thought I would check my progress on Pop Sugar’s Reading Challenge of 2019. I generally don’t fill in the boxes until the end of the year (or close to it). I just don’t want to set myself to read specific books, it feels a bit too forced for me. So it is always fun, did I read a book from the challenge? Can I check a challenge off?
I can say I am superduper proud of how much I managed to fill in. The only ones I didn’t fill in are ones that I cannot do/not really my thing. Why not? Well, let’s see what my reasons were for skipping these and then we get to what I did check off and what books I read.
*A book becoming a movie in 2019: I don’t even have a clue what kind of books are being made into movies, and I also don’t care that much.
*A book written by a musician: I don’t really know many musicians on the top of my head nor if they even have written a book.
*A book recommended by a celebrity I admire: I don’t do celebrities. I don’t care what they read. I don’t care if they recommend something.
*A book published posthumously: I read more than a 1000 books, I have no clue if someone is dead or alive and I am not going to go through all my books/authors to find that out.
*A book you see someone reading on TV or in a movie: I don’t really watch a lot of tv or movies, not to mention that I can’t even remember a movie where someone reads a book…
*Your favourite prompt from a past POPSUGAR Challenge: This is my first challenge, so I don’t really have a favourite of the past.
*Two books that share the same title (2): I gave up searching for one. I was already happy I found one. I am sure there are more, but 1000+ books is just not an easy thing to search through, especially not with a buggy Goodreads.
And now for the best part! Showing you guys the chart and let you see what I did read~ I also did a Twitter poll about a month ago to see if people would be interested in a book list, and the answer was a YES. So, under the image I will post all the books I read with a link to Goodreads. Since it is quite a lot, I am not going to be posting covers for the books.

We have come to the end of this post. Phew, that was a lot of work but also so much fun to share this Challenge with you all. Once again, I am really proud at how many I could check off, I hadn’t expected to really get this many as I haven’t prepared anything for it. As you can see I picked mostly English books, but also added a few Dutch books as I read plenty of those as well.
I can’t wait to see what 2020 will bring in regards of challenges and how many of it I can check of that time. Yes, I will be participating in the new POPSUGAR Reading Challenge again, and I will post the results around this time next year again, so look forward to it.
If you have any fun challenges you think I would enjoy be sure to send them to me. I could always use more of these~
