Library Haul 23-1-2020

Evening all!

Welcome to a brand-new Library #1 Haul! It was time to get some new books!

I just love visiting the library on Thursday, I am always excited to see if Library #1 has new books, and then especially new English books. They are really doing an effort to add more English books to their collection and while their adding efforts are a bit erratic with some series getting all their books as they come out and some series only getting the first book, I am still delighted. I just love seeing English books pop up that I have been meaning to read. Like today I found Frankly in Love which I wanted to read last year. dances

This time the haul was a bit so-so, I am still happy. You may wonder why Trinkets is in the list again, well I brought it back and when I couldn’t find a lot of books decided to pick it up again (yay for them having two editions).

There was also apparently an author/illustrator event at the library for the Voorleesdagen (Read-Aloud-days) and I was almost thinking of staying, but since the duo was late (no clue if they ever arrived, when I left it was 20 minutes after the event was supposed to start) I decided to leave as I had to be home at a certain time and since the event would take an hour I wouldn’t be on time. It is a shame, I did buy the book and I was looking forward to seeing the illustrator draw and at the end get the autograph by the author. Oh well, maybe next time!

So, which book do you think I should read first? Let me know in the comments! For now I am undecided between Frankly in Love and The M Word.

Stats: 5 books. 1 non-fiction, 4 fiction.

NOTE: 1 book isn’t on Goodreads, I will add it there when I read  the book.
