Happy Sunday! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~
The first real week of January, everyone is back to doing their normal things, the festivities are over (or in my case at least until my birthday on 5th of February). I had a busy week with plenty of things that had to be done. I am slowly starting to do some more exercise now that I feel much better, though going to the gym for extra exercise will have to wait until either this or next week, and then only once a week, I don’t want to overdo it.
Reading-wise, well I had plenty of fun reading all sorts of books. It was also sadly a week with plenty of DNFs. 🙁
What did I read from my TBR Pile? Starfell (a wonderful magic book with a growing protagonist), 10 Blind Dates (OMG this was adorable and fun), Welkom bij de club (a wonderful and at times funny book about a woman transitioning to man), Fokke & Sukke aan de balie (while I wasn’t always a fan of the subject F&S made it work), Baby-gami (adorable and I learned tons).
I also DNF-ed a whole bunch of books. Dolle Dinsdag (too much going back and forth and back and forth), Max Einstein (too much obsessed with Einstein + the MC was annoying), Pog (I just couldn’t get into it for some reason), Darius de Grote (wasn’t a fan of Darius and then especially how he treated his dad), Er was eens (It was just boring, I couldn’t even get through the first story), Beneath the Surface (wasn’t a fan of the two girls).
Again nothing read from my Kindle. My eyes aren’t feeling too OK to read on a screen, even one that the Kindle has.
Here is a brand-new pile of books I want to read. I also picked 3 books from my other TBR (which now only has 2 books on it left \o/) which I hope to read soon-ish, or at least try out and see if I like them. I got plenty of library books I am eager to read. So this will be a fun week. Hopefully less DNFs. crosses fingers
We have reached the end of this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates~ Thank you all for reading and I hope you have a wonderful week, may it be as filled with books as mine will be.
