Happy Sunday/weekend and a bookish welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~

Where is January going? The days are just speeding by and I am just surprised we are almost through the first month of the year. Then again, don’t mind it that much as my birthday is coming up sooner then. It was a busy, but fun week. Thursday/Friday/Saturday I was able to visit libraries, on Saturday there was a beer festival and I went with my husband and two friends. There were all sort of yummy beers.
Reading-wise I had fun reading plenty of comics and a couple of manga. While I love reading those, I am glad that this week I got plenty of normal books to read. So happy all three of my library hauls were awesome + that I found some new books to buy.

What did I read from my TBR Pile? I tried one story in the Wool omnibus (and dropped the rest, bland/boring), Sweethearts (not for me, stalkerish guy, annoying girl), Isadora has a Sleepover (cute, but too predictable), Weigevoel (my favourite this week this was hilarious, Dena for life), De wereld van de witte jassen (pretty interesting read though a times a bit boring), Wat me nu toch gebeurde op weg naar school… (hilarious and I loved the twist at the end), Het dagboek van Cerise 1 (meh, meh and meh, but gorgeous art), Madame Badobedah (pretty OK, but I wasn’t a fan of the MC and how she kept snooping and thinking rude things), Beatrice (gorgeous art, but also quite confusing).

I tried and dropped: Ik zal de wereld nooit meer zien (I liked the premise but it was less about the whole jail thing and more about literature and such, not what I came here for), Alles in dit boek is waar (interesting at points but too boring to continue), Dit ga je niet geloven (had an OK start but just felt too long-winded and I got a bored).

Nothing from my Kindle. Still not in the mood.

And here is a new pile of books I want to read. I got some other library books still left, but these are my top picks for this week. Plus, one pre-order got in (finally) and I bought 3 new books for a lovely price. So I got plenty to read and I am very excited!

So here we are at the end of this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates! Thanks for reading~ I want to wish you all a wonderful week! And if you have any suggestions on what to read first, I am always open to hear them. I got so many books that I don’t know what to read first!
