Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 26-1-2020

Afternoon all!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~ I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

What a week! What a week~ The second bout of flu has arrived, urgh, I would love it if I was just free of flu for a couple of months. Other than that, busy week with plenty of things that had to be done. Yep, I felt sick but I had too much to do to rest much. And on Saturday I went out with my husband and friends to our seasonally beercrawl with this time some delicous winter-ish beers. Mm, that was fun!
Reading-wise I read plenty of delightful books, also encountered some meh books, bought some new books and those arrived yesterday, and another pre-order FINALLY came in.

What did I read from my TBR Pile? The Cute Thesaurus (which was fun and adorable and hilarious), Time to momo: Tokio (interesting with plenty of great tips and lovely photographs), De enorm eigenwijze eenhoorn (had some good points, but also some eh points, cute art though), Baby Aapje privé detective (not that good, too repetitive), Get Me Out of Here (hilarious and yeah extreme sports things though I wasn’t a fan of the brother), Kind van de rekening (took me ages but very interesting to read), Princess in Black (meh, I should have just listened to my guts, but hey the monster was cute), Agent Weasel (so funny and I had quite a lot of giggles, James Bond but now with a Weasel), Door zonder familie (interesting read though I felt so sorry for the guy, his ex is a insert mean words), Het geheim boek van Sinterklaas (not Sinterklaas any more but still a very fun and education read that I enjoyed), Het omgeval (a very lovely written graphic novel that I enjoyed though also had some questions about).

I tried and dropped: Het hol van de das (I didn’t like the writing style, something just felt off), Praktische gids voor een nieuw samengesteld gezin (boring, not for me, while it did seem interesting).

And I got a new big pile of books I want to read and I definitely want to start reading One of Us is Next this week, and also Love Boat Taipei. For today’s reads I am hoping to read Iedereen op Claudia, one of the books in Stijn vindt het uit, and oh yes Time to momo: Kopenhagen.

TBR, Stack of Books, Books

Well that is it for today! Thank you all for reading this, and if you want be sure to let me know what book I should read first as I just got too many books I want to read! Have a wonderful Sunday, and have a good week!
