Happy weekend, happy Sunday! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~
What a week. The first one of isolation (though my hubby and I did go out for walks in the evening when everything was done so we wouldn’t go stir crazy, and of course due to everyone hoarding we had to get some essential groceries to complete our meals for the week) and quite a few more to go.I hope that soon this all will be over and everything will be happier. My mind and body are just a bit too stressed/anxious right now. 🙁
As for reading, I read a bit this week in between everything, while also pacing myself as I got a limit of books at home to read and I just don’t know how long libraries will be closed. I read some of my ARCs on Netgalley, still got 1 or 2 left, so that is going very well.
What did I read from my TBR Pile? Gebonden aan de sjeik (OK-ish, typical Harlequin dramarama and the guy was just eh), Meer vinexvrouwen (Yawn and the racism made me uncomfortable), De topper turboracer (fun and delightful though I disliked Jessie and Jack), Bestemming Bonaire (a bit boring and predictable but still fun), Viva La France (meh boring), Max Modderman (the MC was annoying but I still liked reading the book), Minecraft (I want more answers and the real story was bleh, but the rest was very fun), Sisters 14 (hilarious though the little sister needs to learn lessons), Star Wars (a shame that the AR thing will never work on many phones, but the book was great to read and I learned some new things as I didn’t watch more than the first 6 movies).
I tried and dropped: Genoeg (Yawns some more), Zwanenzang (I dropped it when her plan to get a man was to stop with birthcontrol and not tell him that..).
Here is a new stack! As you can see some new books got delivered this week and I cannot wait to read them. My next read will first be Vos & Haas book at the bottom, I could use something light and fluffy.
This is the end of this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates! What are your plans for this week? How are you doing in these weeks of isolation. Let me know in the comments~ I want to wish everyone a very happy weekend with plenty of books and, if play it, Animal Crossing. Be safe and good luck~
