Happy weekend to all, and welcome to a brand-new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
A semi-calm week with plenty of things that I wanted/had to do. I can’t wait for April to come as March so far is just a bit boring. April at least brings all sorts of fun things.
As for reading, I read quite a bit… enjoyed quite a few (both from the stack and books not on it) and found new books to love, but sadly I also had quite a few disappointments. I hope March won’t become the big DNF month. I don’t mind DNF-ing, but it is just sad when you look forward to something and it isn’t your cup of tea after all.
What did I read from my TBR Pile? Zeevlam (an exciting book with murder and friendship but also an annoying POV), My Sister The Serial Killer (I really liked this one it was murderously exciting though Korede needs to grow a spine), Donnie’s Kookboek (I loved the recipes in this one they were yummy and good-looking), Waar is Momo (a bit simple but supercute).
I tried and dropped: Frostheart (I just couldn’t get into it there were just too many questions and too little things shown), Bajes (meh, not my writing style), De IJstuin (just wasn’t a fan of anyone in the book), Jane Doe (my lord this was annoying and boring and I just couldn’t understand what our MC was doing wrong to be treated like this).
Here is a new stack, I should REALLY get to reading Hand on the Wall and The King of Crows but I just can’t do it yet, I don’t want things to end. I added new library books that I got at Library #1 and #2.
And we have reached the end of this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates! Whoop! Thank you all for reading and I hope everyone has a great Sunday + a lovely week.
