Welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday, this week a YA book about an endless prom: The Night of Your Life.

I totally adore books in which characters have to relive certain days or events. In this one our MC has an accident and relives the day the whole time, but from what I can see in the blurb the evening always ends final destination like, aka, it all ends badly. I am not sure what badly means, does he die? Does Lucy die? Or do they break apart without any physical pain? I am quite curious how the days end and of course if JJ gets his dream ending and can be with Lucy. I do so hope that he can.
I am also curious about the prom. We don’t have that kind of event here (though I believe these days some high school are adding it) and since I learned about prom from YA novels and series I have always wanted to go to one. Since I can’t, I guess I will have to live with novels and series.

Thankfully it is out now, so I definitely want to get it soon.

JJ is having the worst prom ever… over and over again.

All year, JJ’s been looking forward to going to prom with his best friend, Lucy. It will be their last hurrah before graduation—a perfect night for all their friends to relax, have fun together, and celebrate making it through high school.

But nothing goes according to plan. When a near-car crash derails JJ before he even gets to prom and Lucy can’t figure out what happened to him, things spiral out of control. The best night of their lives quickly turns into the worst.
