Hardcover Surprises ~ Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Illustrated Edition

Hardcover Surprises ~ Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Illustrated Edition

Afternoon,

Welcome to a brand-new Hardcover Surprises, this time featuring Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Illustrated Edition, the last of the Illustrated Editions I still want to share with you all. Now it is waiting for the next book in the series and I cannot wait for it to come, I want to see the new illustrations!

I think this one is one of my favourite covers of the series, so far at least. I love the Knight Bus, love how it looks (and is that a teddy bear strapped to the grill??), and also what it does (being able to fit in even the smallest spaces), which we cannot see here. Though given the descriptions of how it drove, I am not sure if my stomach can handle it. 😛 And if you look closely at the cover you can also see that big black dog that was stalking Harry. You can click on the image to get a bigger resolution.

Next to the cover we have the two images inside, the first one is from the beginning of the book, the second one from the ending. I guess I don’t need to tell you guys what is illustrated on these two pages. Jim Kay really captured the horrors of these two very well.
