Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 17-5-2020

Afternoon everyone,

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Happy weekend and a warm welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

Another week has passed by with a fun (but stressful) library visit on Friday and not much else on the rest of the week. I did some work in my garden as the weeds were creeping up fast, I baked a fresh new cake, and tried not to be too stressed and do some selfcare.
Reading-wise, good week, I had fun reading plenty of books whenever I could. I did try to hold to my rationing plans.. but that didn’t work out all the time. Thankfully libraries are opening up again, though I probably won’t go as often as I used to. Not until my mental health is better and a vaccine is made. But at least it means that I don’t need to worry about being without books so soon. Once again this week was a nice mix of Kindle, library, some ARCs, and some of my own physical books.

What did I read from my TBR Pile this week? Casa Ibiza (pretty OK, but got a bit uncomfortable at the end), Zeezicht (interesting read, didn’t like the cheating, but the mystery was good), Wat niet in de safarigids van je ouders staat (hilarious and so much fun, great writing style and I loved the photographs), Project Z: Attack of the Zombie Zing (I will miss this series this was a great book and a good finale), Alfie Fleet’s Guide to the Universe (silly and fun, though I wasn’t a fan of the antagonists being added), Don’t Drink the Punch (creepy and spooky with a fun MC who still has a lot to learn), It’s All Downhill From Here (a chilly and spooky read and I loved it), Op zoek naar Tom (I love ancient Egypt and this was a fun book about that with great search-find pictures).
From my Kindle I read: Ghost (which was an amazing and spooky read that still haunts me). I also added a couple of new library books over the week and read those.

I tried and dropped: Last Girls (that incident at school was just not for me and I couldn’t really like the girls, also some other issues).

Here is a brand-new, a bit overkill, TBR stack with all sorts of books I hope to read. Including 2 books from my new Library #1 Haul, and some new books I want to re-read.
My Kindle also got some new books on it. One from the library, one ARC I need to read, and a couple other books I really want to try out this week.

TBR, Books, Children's Books, Thriller, Young Adult, Re-reads, Simon Vs, You're Invited to a Creepover

Kindle, TBR, Ereader, Ali Wong, Potatoes, Children's Books, ARC, Library, LGBT

Well that is it for this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates. I had fun writing it and sharing it with my readers! What are your plans this week (reading or otherwise)? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading, be safe and have a good weekend!
