Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 31-5-2020
Afternoon all,
Happy weekend all, welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
This was quite a good week. Better than last week at least. Still a lot of stress for wanting to go outside and visit my last library now that it is open. But my hubby was there for me and made sure I was doing OK (given me plenty of massages that my back really needs). I did some more baking (made snickerdoodles and some other cookies), it was a busy week on my blog (thanks all), and I enjoyed my garden and seeing all the plants come more and more alive (hope you all don’t mind me going on and on about my garden 😛 ).
Reading-wise, I got many more books now that I have been able to visit all my libraries over the past weeks, especially my visit to Library #2 was amazing, check out how many books I got in my library haul here.
What did I read from my TBR Pile this week? Blue Flag (absolutely gorgeous manga with mostly fabulous characters), The Show Must Go On! (I really enjoyed this spooky re-read with a great MC), Echte Duiven in de Nesten (sooo funny and I love our pigeons and what adventures they have), Wespennest (hilarious and well written… with the exception of one big thing), Jippie! en de onderwaterpiraten (this was another great book in this series, pirate adventures, arrr), Spionage (this was such an interesting book about spying, spies, poison, and missions).
From my Kindle I read: Nothing, sorry Kindle! I just got so many new Library books that my Kindle is back to down the stack.
Here is a new stack with new Library books, some new Dutch books that popped in this past week. It is A LOT, but I want to have enough choice. No more re-reads now I got plenty of books to read again.
And also a new Kindle TBR with some new books I got this week. And of course a couple of ARCs.. Argh. 😛
That is it for this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates. Thanks for visiting and reading all about my TBR. I want to wish everyone a very good weekend, I hope it is filled with plenty of books and cookies (and otherwise I can share as I made quite a few on Saturday). Be safe, and take care!

I’m glad that the weekend went well! We’ve been spending a lot more time outside as of late with the warmer weather and sunshine. I’ve got a backyard garden where we grow veggies each year. Looking forward to enjoying fresh salad straight from the garden!
That sounds lovely, glad we are both enjoying our gardens! Oh, that is fantastic, growing your own veggies is something I would love to do as well (I loved growing them when I worked at a farm), but no room in my garden. I hope you enjoy your salad, fresh salad is the best.
