Welcome to a brand-new and awesome Library #1 Haul post!
I was planning on going next week, but with a lot of stress for my upcoming vacation + the weather going to be meh the coming days, I decided to go today. Grab some new books so I got something to read this/next week + also can read some during my vacation.
It seems that Corona measures are going down and people start to care less. No one checked if people disinfected their hands. People just walked around without care for distance. Thankfully, the upstairs part was silent and mostly empty which was a blessing. I had a lot of fun walking around and looking for books, and boy I had some big luck this time! Which makes me happy as I just cannot visit the library every week. I want to bring the 8 max books with me.
They added quite some new English books to their collection which makes me happy. I know years ago it was very rare for new English books to pop up, but these days they add more and more. The collection is still not big, but it is growing. I am especially happy with the new Maudlin Towers book. I love that series so much. Also yay is that I found the last book in the series by Tine Bergen. I finished book 2 (a bit of a disappointment) yesterday and wasn’t sure when I would get the chance to read the last book any time soon. Library #2 didn’t have it, Library #3 I just visited, so I was crossing my fingers it would be at Library #1. Now I can finish the series and find out who the big baddie is.
So a great haul, 4 of the books are going on my vacation stack, the other 4 will be read the coming days.
STATS: 8 books. 1 Non-fiction, 7 fiction.
NOTE: 2 books aren’t on Goodreads, they will be added when I read the books.
