Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 5-7-2020

Afternoon all,

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

My week was nothing much special, just busy. But I did go to Library #3 yesterday which was a lot of fun. I am glad that it isn’t as hot as last week, no melting for me this week.
Reading-wise I had a lot of fun reading plenty of books whenever I could. I read some manga, some library books, some ARCs.

What did I read from my TBR Pile this week? Hana-Kimi 1 + 2 (I re-read the first one and read the second one shortly after, great two volumes I enjoyed it a lot though at times it was silly), Sailor V (not as fun as Sailor Moon, but I still enjoyed Minako’s backstory again), Railgun 1 (another fun re-read that was a ton of energy and exciting things happening), Toscane (pretty fun to read though a shame once again about the shopping choices), Madrid (a bit bland, but still fun to read, I already wanted to visit Madrid… but now even more), There’s Something Out There (Spooky and a bit scary, but the brother annoyed me so much), Arlo Finch and the Lake of the Moon (mind blown many times, amazing read), Dipper & Mables Guide to Mystery and Non Stop Fun (this was sooooo much fun, I am glad I decided to re-read it, now I want to watch the show again), De Campus (interesting/exciting, but man that MC was just an idiot), Het geheim van tante Fien (cute, fun, mysterious, intriguing characters and I loved the secret), Het feest van groep 5 (OK book, I liked the party), Stinkhond zoekt een baasje (Lord this was just annoying and the dog was just too much of an idiot to be fun), Vier kaboutertjes in de zomer (Meh, not as good as the other book in the series, still fun but just less), Kookboek voor geeks (this was quite interesting to read, love the geekiness, though I am not sure if I will ever use the recipes, too fancy), Harry Potter Lego zoekboek (this was such a delight combining two of my fav things).

I tried and dropped: Follow Me Down (such longwinded descriptions of EVERYTHING + the constant switching between Now/Then just wasn’t done well).

Here is a new stack of books! With some books from last time, some library books from Library #2 and new books from Library #3, and some manga (one re-read, one new).

TBR, Books, Reading, Young Adult, Comics, Travelling, Children's Books

That is it for this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates! Thanks for reading, wish me luck~ I wish everyone a good Sunday and a great week!

  1. OMG that’s a great collection of books! I have With The Fire on High on my TBR and can’t wait to get to it! ❤️

  2. Thats such a cool tbr! I’ve wanted to read some manga for a while so I might just pick something from your collection haha

    1. Thank you! Haha, sounds like a good plan. Hana-Kimi is very fun, and I would definitely recommend Sailor V and Sailor Moon. If you need more recs let me know. 🙂
