Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 30-8-2020
Afternoon all!
A happy welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates, I hope everyone is having a great weekend~
This was a much better week than last week. Almost no pain, and I could do plenty of things again. does a happy dance
It was also a great reading week, I had fun reading books from my TBR. But I also read a couple of ARCs from Netgalley as I still got plenty of those (but at least not 24 which was my count a couple of weeks ago).
What did I read from my TBR pile this week? The Hand on the Wall (Yes, I finally read it and it was amazing), I Stole My Genius Sister’s Brain (fun, hilarious, but also heartwarming), Lectrr (hilarious, though at times a bit too much), Labyrint (ohh, I loved this short story collection, there were lots of OMG NOOOO WAY), Terug naar Birkenau (stunning), Leon & Juliette (a well-written short book about romance and slavery, though I was off put with how young Juliette was), Mijn moederstrijd (interesting to read, his mother is so strong), Je kunt het ook nooit goed doen (funny/relevant, but at times a bit too much), Verlos Ons (gorgeous book about birth and being a mother), Held op sokken (), Verborgen wereld ().
And here is a brand-new stack, I am very excited about Assistant and Achter de glimlach van de Sri Lankaan. I am still not sure if I will be reading Worst Laid Plans, or if I will have it wait until October (Halloween!).
And we have reached the end of this week’s TBR Updates. Thanks for reading, I can’t wait for this week to start so I can read these books. I want to wish all my readers a happy weekend and a great week. Stay safe. <3
