Library Haul 19-9-2020
Evening all,
Welcome to an unexpected Library #1 haul!
I wasn’t planning on going until the 30th of September, but… yesterday the Boekenweek voor Jongeren (Bookweek for Young Adults/Teens) started and that meant a new 3PAK (the free book you get each year). You can get those at libraries, schools (but I am not at school so that option is not working), and bookstores. I asked my hubby to see if he could find it for me while he did the groceries. He first tried the bookstore, but no luck there. The library also didn’t have it (stating some bullpoop reason). So he decided to go home and then go to Library #1 as that is the nearest other library. I decided to come with him as I wanted some new books.
I was happy to be back at the library and looked around for new books. I was quite surprised to find a book I used last week for the Monday’s First Sentence at the library, I didn’t expect it to be there, but yay, I can read it. I walked through the rest of the library and picked up a few more books. So not a superduper haul, but I am still happy with the books I found. Though I did find out that a book I picked up… is one I read already. Not my fault, they completely changed the cover and renamed it. Oh well, I liked the book so I can re-read it.
I will probably still go to the library again on the 30th, depends on if I can finish these books. 🙂
Stats: 4 books. All fiction.
The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss
Where the Wilderness Lives by Jess Butterworth
Eerstejaars! by Welmoed Barendsen
Coco & Munt de plastic dreiging by Emy Geyskens

Yeah the library! How disappointing to have picked up a book you had already read! I’m glad you got a chance though to pick up some new reads. Enjoy!
It was, I don’t like it when covers/titles change. 😐 Thanks! Can’t wait to start reading them~
