Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 6-9-2020

Afternoon everyone!!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Happy Weekend and a big welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~ Yay!

It was a busy busy week this week. Plenty of things I wanted to do and plenty that I could do! We have finally cleaned up the last moving boxes, as we finally had the chance to get the DETOLF stuff we wanted for the anime figures we still had in boxes. Yay, for IKEA pickup. I spend some hours putting our girls (and a couple of boys) in there. So happy that is all done. Also did a bit of gardening as Fall is coming and I want to prepare my plants/garden for the coming Fall/Winter. Plus, getting back to exercising again, last week I could finally start again (after 3 weeks of vacation and 1 week of OUCH) but this week I went fully back to it. So happy!
And of course, I managed to read books. A couple of ARCs, which meant my Netgalley went down.. and is now going up again :P, and of course books from my TBR (and maybe some books that weren’t on my TBR, well, not for the current week). Found some new books to love!

What did I read from my TBR pile this week? Komt wel goed (a cute and romantic poetry collection), Pieps en Peter (it was interesting to read, but I am sad about the illustrations), Koffers & Koters (this was hilarious and delightful to read, very creative as well), Waarom jij van sterrenstof bent (I loved this one! Interesting and fun to read, but I also loved the tests/fun little things you could try out), I don’t Like books ever the end (super cute and I loved the ending), Expeditie Achtertuin (this was a gorgeous book).

I tried but dropped: Hell City (got tired of the writing style after a couple of pages), Achter de glimlach van de Sri Lankaan (meh, boring).

Here is a brand-new stack. You may miss some books, I removed those from this week’s stack because I got some fresh books… and I don’t want my stack to be too big. That just puts me off from reading. I cannot wait to get started on these books. Definitely want to read Dagboek van een verloskundige and Nevernight first!

TBR, Books, Reading, Nevernight, Children's Books, YA, Young Adult, Non-fiction, Picture Books, Stack of Books

And that brings us to the end of my TBR plans post! Thanks for reading! I hope you all have a great weekend and a fantastic week. Stay safe, and have fun reading!
