Choose Your Fellowship Book Tag
Hey all!
Welcome to a brand-new tag, one I just loved so much and now that I finally have some room in my schedule I can finally do, welcome to the Choose Your Fellowship Book Tag!
This tag is created by Beth @ Booknest and I found this tag over at Jessticulates!
While I am not a fan of the books in this franchise (I have tried it twice in my life at 2 different ages and I always ended falling asleep around 20-30 pages in), I just ADORE the movies and have rewatched them quite a few times. The friendship, the quest, the adventure, magic and bad wizards, jokes, and so much more. Ah, I love it!
Frodo
I will take the ring to Mordor | A book you’re not quite sure if you like or not
I recently finished Why You Should Read Children’s Books, Even Though You Are So Old and Wise by Katherine Rundell in Dutch.. and while I did like the message, there was something missing about the book. My first guess is that it is probably due to the translation. Some translators do an awesome job, but sometimes things just get lost in translation, sadly.
Sam
I can’t carry it, but I can carry you | A book you’ll always be loyal to
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, I will always love that book and I will always be loyal to. There are many other books though, like the whole of Unfortunate events of Lemony Snicket or Waste of Space by Gina Damico
Pippin
What about second breakfast? | A book you want to re-read
I actually made a stack of books I want to re-read sometime. Not sure when though. It just depends on when I am in the mood for them. Here is a picture of my stack to give you an idea. 🙂
Merry
We’re going with you, Frodo | A book about friendship
I got so many books like that but let me pick two series with some great friendship: The Dundooodle Mysteries and Ben Braver.
Aragorn
For Frodo! | A book with a hero/heroine to swoon over
It’s been a long time since I last swooned over a hero/heroine in a book. I swoon about many things in a book, but rarely these days is it the hero or heroine of a book. But I do swoon over all the GIFs I had to find of Aragorn. 🙈
Legolas
That still only counts as one! | The biggest book on your TBR
My TBR is adorably short so that is an easy one. Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer, 700+ pages. I bought the book a few weeks ago but was waiting for it to be October before I want to read it. I am planning on reading it the next coming days. Let’s see how Edward tells the story and what more we find out about Edward. I am hyped.
Gimli
Shall I get you a box? | A short but fun read
Oh, I got plenty of those, I will see which ones aren’t picture books. Let’s see Snow White Blood Red by Cameron Jace (25 pages), The Tailor by Leigh Bardugo (18 pages), and lastly A Tourist Guide to Lancre by Terry Pratchett (32 pages).
Boromir
They’ve taken the little ones | A series in which you never made it past the first book
Hahaha, oh my I got plenty of books like that. Second-book-in-the-series is a real thing people.
Gandalf
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us | A book that made you think about your life, the universe and everything once you finished it
Mmm, I don’t think I have had one like that, or nothing that I can remember. I see this question pop up quite often in one way or another and all I can do is shrug and just say that maybe it happened in all my years reading, but apparently it didn’t stay with me.

This was SUCH a fun tag and I had fun finding books for the questions and GIFs for the questions (as I didn’t want to take over the ones by Jessticular). I would tag EVERYONE, so go go and do this tag!
