Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 11-10-2020
Afternoon all,
Happy Sunday! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!
A week that was slow the first two days and then suddenly flew by. Not much exciting happened.. just that I am getting tired more and more. Oh, and slowly getting out of things to stress-clean… 😐 Yes, I am doing that. Hopefully next week is a better week.
Reading-wise a bit hit/miss. Several of the books on my stack were a disappointment. Two of the ARCs I read were eh. Tried some books not on this stack that were eh. But I also found some books I did enjoy thankfully, but I truly hope next week will be a better week with more fun books.
What did I read from my TBR stack this week? Daring of Della Dupree (this was just such witchy fun and I loved Della), Oude Grieken (another fun book in this series though I knew most of the facts already), De nachtmerriewinkel (felt more like an introduction than a first book but still tons of fun to read), Wonderbos (took me two tries to finally get through this book, but I did, gorgeous art).
I tried and dropped: Naar Buiten (yawns), De beestenbaas (this was apparently a sequel, oops), Waterland (the story was just not for me, the characters annoying), Supernerd of topmodel (like a fanfiction of Geek Girl, so much just matched), De Eenhoorn (I loved the animals, but the text was so boringly written I didn’t come far).
Here is a new stack with books from last week, some new books from both the library and my own collection. It is a lot, so we will see how far I will get.
And so ends another Sunday’s TBR Updates, wow the weeks are just FLYING. Thank you for reading, wish me luck, and I hope everyone has a great weekend and a happy (and safe) week.
