Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 18-10-2020

Afternoon all!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Happy Sunday! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

Not a good week. I would love to tell things are better.. but not really. Just so tired. I got my flushot this week, coronaproof. My arm is now looking like someone punched it. XD But it was also a good week as my hubby got us plenty of Halloween candy (apparently the Lidl near us has a Halloween selection) and I went to Library #3.
Reading-wise, a lot better than last week! I read plenty of fantastic books (5 and 5+ stars), I did drop 2 or so books, but that is not much.

What did I read from my TBR stack this week? Higurashi no Naku Koro ni #3 (this was a fun one, the twins are here), Ezelsvel (OK with beautiful art, but I am just not a fan of forced vegetarianism), Survivor Song (haunting, gorgeous, and HOLY YES), Death Sets Sail (a wonderful conclusion to a fantastic series, plus Egypt = <3 ), De Drakenberg (fun to read and I loved that it takes place in Japan, yes for Youkai), Kinderboeken lezen (OK-ish, I think the translation just made the book stiff and bland), Stockholm (loved this one, I want to visit even more for real now), Grapman (meh, not really my book, there were just thing I wasn’t a fan of), Alle dagen ui (), Animals (gorgeous book with fun/interesting facts).

I tried and dropped: Bonuskind (expected adult book, but we get a YA-ish book?), Kamerplanten (a bit boring).

Here is a new stack, once again very ambitious, but I like having choices and I know my body is still not happy/healthy so I need to take enough breaks inbetween things. It is a combo of things from last week, some books from my Halloween TBR, and new books from the library.

TBR, Reading, Non-fiction, Graphic Novel, Reading, Books, Fiction

That is it for this week! The weeks are flying by and I just don’t want October to end. The next fun event isn’t until December (Christmas, yes!). Thanks for reading, and wish me luck with my stack! I hope everyone has a great Sunday and a fabulous upcoming week. Stay safe!

  1. You have “A Winter’s promise” on your tbr! That’s so great. I love that series. I still have to read the last book in the series but I’m kinda wary to read it because I don’t really want it to end. I hope you’ll like it!

    1. Yes! I started reading it some time ago, but then the book had to go back to the library. 🙁 But luckily last time I visited I could bring it back home again. So happy to hear you love it, I hope you love the last book as well, I know that feeling exactly, it is why it took me 6 months to finally read the last Truly Devious book. Thanks!
