End of The Year Book Tag! 2020 Edition!

Afternoon all,

Guruguru, GIF, Red-hair, staff, book

Welcome all to the 2020 edition of the End of the Year Book Tag. We still have 1.5 month to go before the end is over. What a year. Good lord.

I saw this one pop up again on some other blogs and thought, why not, let me just make a 2020 edition of it! And here we are. I loved checking out my 2019 edition and see what my plans were and if I read the books I mentioned. Let’s see, from my new releases top 4: I read Lichtekooi en zwiepkanarie, tried and dropped Nevertell and Eight Will Fall, and never tried Good Girls Lie. From my three books I wanted to read before the end of the year, well I only listed 2. I dropped Frigid, and LOVED Crooked Kingdom.

So let’s see what my answers for this year are, let’s go!

1. Are there any books you started this year you need to finish?

Quoting my answer from last year: “Nope. I generally finish books quite soon after I started them. Unless I DNF-ed but then I am also not getting back to them. 😛”

2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?

As I said last year, nope, don’t have a book like that. The only autumnal books I may read are spooky books in October and I read plenty, see my Halloween TBR here.

3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Yep! Still waiting for a couple of books. Here is a top 3:
Patience & Esther: An Edwardian Romance, SW Searle, Blue, Bed, Fireplace, Girls, LGBT, Graphic Novel, Historical Fiction, CutePirate Stew, Pirates, Men, Women, Children, Children's Books, Pot, Golden Pot, Smoke, Neil Gaiman, Chris Riddell, Picture Books, Fantasy, PiratesSilhouettes, house, gold letters, Karen M. Mcmanus, Young Adult, The Cousins, Mystery, Inheritance, Secrets, Mystery, Family

4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

The Mysterious Benedict Society, Trenton Lee Stewart, Blue, Plane, Children, Boy, Girl, Sky, Cloud, Mystery,The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Riddle of AgesVlucht, Mel Wallis de Vries, Girls, Three Girls, White Shirt, Murder, Mystery, Young Adult, Thriller, KidnappingShine, Jessica Jung, Gold, Pink, White, K-pop, Idols, Singing, Music, Famous, Fame, Korea

5. Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your FAVORITE?

Since there is still like 1 month and 20 days to go and I can read plenty in that time, I think there will be enough books that may become a favourite.

6. Have you already made reading plans for 2021?

Nope, but I don’t really do that. I just read whatever comes my way or what seems interesting. Sure, I will set a Goodreads goal, but that is more so that I can check my 2020 books easily (as the normal page is at times not showing all the books I read).

————————————-

OK, I am so happy I got to do this tag again. This is definitely one that will keep coming back so look forward to 2021! I would tag everyone that wants to do this tag.
