Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 27-12-2020

Afternoon all!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Happy Weekend all! I hope everyone is enjoying these festive days~ Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

This week was very exciting, while it didn’t feel like Christmas yet until 2 days before Christmas (I am guessing because of COVID/restrictions/having been inside for 9 months with only a couple of outside trips between). But then I got quite excited! And Christmas was just awesome. Yes, we missed seeing family, but we made the most of it. Lots of food, movies, presents, and games.
Reading-wise… well I know that I said that I would take it easy with my stack.. but I just had to read. Oops! Thankfully, I still got things to read, but I wonder if I can last for another month or a bit longer until the libraries open again. 😛 I will try!

What did I read from my TBR stack this week?  Tinsel (such a magical story), Aho-Girl Vol.3 (funny and just what I needed, though the mom, urgh), Kimikiss Vol.1 (happy that I can re-read this series, it was a lot of fun), Stripspektakel (great book, love that is about Belgium/comics), De beste school van de hele wereld (hilarious and magical), Barsten (this was wonderfully written, loved Sari), The Mountains Sing (WOW WOW WOW), Morgen weer een dag (OK, not always funny though), Ijstijd (WTF did I read, good art though), De kleine koning (gorgeous book, but the ending could be better), Boompje in het bos (gorgeous and sweet), Nenna en de herdersfluit (meh, so many holes in the story), De kleine helper (cute and really brought the Christmas spirit), Iets wat sneeuw heet (sooooo adorable and cute).

I tried and dropped: De gelukkigste klas (this just wasn’t about what I had hoped), Kerststress en stinksokken (the characters were SO annoying).

Here is a new stack! I am excited to get to reading all these books! I still got a couple of new books left to read from my own collection + I am re-reading/reading books from my collection. I will try to take it easy. Which may go a bit better as my hubby is also on vacation this week and we are going to plenty of things together (at home of course), so I probably won’t have tons of time to read.

Thanks for reading! I hope everyone has a great week and a great New Year! This is the last Sunday’s TBR Updates for this year, I really love looking back and seeing what I had on my TBR pile each week. I cannot wait to see what will appear on my TBR plans next year!
