Afternoon all!

It is a new month and time for a new Spell the Month in Books! Say hello to my January books~

This month’s StMiB will be different than the previous months. Lockdown is still going here, so no libraries to visit. The lockdown will probably last until the 19th, but then it will take a few days before I actually will visit any of my libraries. My stack is quite small and there are just barely any books in there with letters: J, N, U, Y, A. I could find an R… but that was all. 🤣 And you all know that my owned books pile is even smaller (currently just 5 books), so I decided to do something different as I really wanted to participate. This month will be spelled with some of my favourite manga!!

First up I will show you guys a picture of my stack and after that I will show the book covers + blurb. This time I didn’t need to translate any blurbs~

Nichijou follows the everyday lives of various people in the town of Tokisadame, mainly focusing on the energetic Yūko Aioi, the bright and cheerful Mio Naganohara, the quiet and deadpan Mai Minakami, the anxious robot Nano Shinonome, her eight-year-old creator the Professor, and a talking cat named Sakamoto, along with an ensemble cast of characters. Random and/or outlandish events regularly occur throughout the series, mainly through the mundane situations each character undergoes.
