Joyful Sunday to all! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~
This week was OK, I am dead tired, probably should listen to my body but I just want to forget things around me so I am not stopping. Though haha, given how things are going I guess I will have to take it easy even if I don’t want to. To no surprise the lockdown here was extended for 3 more weeks (and who knows how much longer after that). Our government has stepped down, also no surprise given how things were going. Vaccinations have started, and going by the schedule my group (18-60 with medical issues) will start in February. I am kind of scared but also hyped about it. Given the issues with the vaccines I wonder if it will really all start in February, but we will see. I am glad at least things have started.
Reading-wise it was a pretty good week despite having to ration even further. I so hope that around 9 February things will just open again. This week I read a bit from my TBR, some manga on my Kindle, some Netgalley stuff. It was a fun mix of things. I sadly also dropped some books, library books thankfully, though given everything I just don’t want to drop anything at the moment.
What did I read from my TBR stack this week? Het testament van agent 1218 (so interesting to read, I am glad I found out about this one), .hack #2 (another fun volume), Kobato (this was such a fun one, I am glad I decided to re-read it), Het boek van de sterren (cute and I love that we see a story on two pages), Dieren van de zee (beautiful illustrations, OK information).
I tried and dropped: Valeria (not my cup of tea), Pages & Co (remembered that I dropped this one some time ago when I read it first which I found out in the first few pages when I recognised things again), Mijn Napels (I tried reading this for days, but it is just not my cup of tea, the writing style.. nah).
Here is a new stack. With on it all my library books that I have left cries. Added two new books (both from my Amazon haul this month). It is quite a nice stack, I am excited about it.
Thanks all for reading this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates! Wish me luck with my TBR (especially that I cannot devour it). I hope everyone has a good week, stay safe!
