Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 24-1-2021
Afternoon!
Welcome all to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~ I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
This week wasn’t much special. Not much happened.
Reading-wise I had plenty of fun reading all sorts of books from all over the place. From my physical TBR to re-reading manga not on the list to reading a book not on my TBR but it was telling me to read him now to Netgalley to reading a book I borrowed from the online library (sadly only 10 books max per 3 weeks, but it is something) to reading tor.com novellas. I am getting quite creative again with finding books, though all I want at the moment is to visit a real library and get some fresh books. Hopefully in February.
What did I read from my TBR stack this week? Zero’s Familiar (hilarious though at times I wasn’t a fan of Louise), Sneeuwexpress (meh, way too over the top and unbelievable), Echte Duiven spetteren samen (super-fun and with twists!), Zing Zing zing de wereld rond (songs could have been longer but I loved the stories), De Paraplu (this was wonderful, really gorgeous art), Zo vang je een olifant (funny, like the ending).
I tried and dropped: A Darker Shade of Magic (I tried… but I struggled and around page 50 I just gave up)
A brand-new stack. Bottom layer is library books (Kleine Vos to Zelfs als we zwijgen), followed in the middle with some of the books I recently got and still need to read (Olivia Waite to The Last Kids on Earth), followed by re-reads (Space Battle Lunchtime to Maburaho). It is a nice blend and while I need to not go fast because who knows how long the lockdown lasts, I do want plenty of choices!
Thank you all for reading my Sunday’s TBR Updates! I hope everyone has a good week with plenty of fun books to read!
