Happy New Year! Welcome to a new book tag! The first one of 2021 and hopefully one of many! Welcome to The New Year’s Book Tag, 2021 Edition!

I was looking around for something fun to post (next to my Top 10) on this first day of the year. And I bumped against this book tag on The Book Worm of Notre Dame! It looked incredibly fun and so I had to try it!

This book tag is originally made by: Heather @Bookables.

Let’s get started~

How many books are you planning to read in 2020?

I never plan for that! I tried doing it the first year I was at Goodreads, but it just brought too much stress to my mind and I noticed reading books felt like a chore. So these days I do pick a goal, but that is just so I can easily see my 2020 books in one place.

Name 5 books that you didn’t get to this year but want to make a priority in 2021.

Fawned, Winter Pior, Sex, Erotica, Pet Play, Romance, LGBT, Window, Two GuysThe Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows, Feminine Pursuits, Olivia Waite, Yellow, Gold, Women, Holding, Dress, Suit, Historical Fiction, Romance, Bees,A Darker Shade of Magic, Shades of Magic, V.E. Schwab, Cape, Silhouette, Map, White, Red, White Letters, Fantasy, Young Adult

Let’s see, The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows, A Darker Shade of Magic, Fawned. That is it. I do have some other books, but I only got those for Christmas so I just haven’t had the chance to read them all and so I don’t count them. The three books up there have been in my possession for (in order): November, April, November.

What genre do you want to read more of?

Mm, I don’t know, I already read plenty of different genres but there isn’t one that shouts at me to read more of. But maybe more books like Confettiregen (about coming out) and The Mountains Sing (family saga).

Name 3 non book related goals for 2021.

I do try to think of goals a year, but haha, I generally forget them after two months. 😛 But sure, 3 non book related goals for 2021. Paint the bathroom’s ceiling (we moved here almost 2 years ago but finally had time to get rid of the slats over the ceiling in 2020 and found some very NOPE things so I want to fix that). Go outside more (though that also depends on COVID). Keep a better eye on my body (I now often just push through despite my body saying no, I want to listen more to it).

What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?

Heartless, Crown, Sword, Thorns, Roses, Red, Black, Fantasy, Marissa Meyer

Oh definitely this book by Marissa Meyer. On the one hand, desperately want to read it. On the other hand… what if it isn’t good? I am just too worried.

One word that your hoping 2021 will be.

Happiness again. 2020… hasn’t been easy.

 Tag a friend!

Boop beep! All of you are tagged!

🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇

And that is the end of this tag! This was tons of fun. I hope everyone has a fantastic first day of the year! Thanks for reading!
