Review for Hilda’s Sparrow Scout Badge Guide

Hilda's Sparrow Scout Badge Guide, Sparrow Scouts, Hilda, Fun, Children's Books, Friendship, Emily Hibbs, Zelda TurnerCome check out Hilda’s Sparrow Scout Badge Guide! With info on the scouts…. but also tons of personal touches~

First up a BIG BIG thank you to my hubby who got me this one for my birthday! I came across this one just a bit before my birthday so I poked my husband and told him that if he was planning on buying books this one HAD TO BE BOUGHT. Haha. XD

In this book, given to all Sparrow Scouts, we get a lot of information about the Sparrow Scouts, about badges, about all sorts of fun things you can do and make and how to make them with clear instructions. It was all interesting to read and I am so happy we got a whole book about this fun sounding Scout group. I have also been at the scouts, but I can tell you that The Sparrow Scouts just sound way more fun than my scouting group. I mean badges! Yas! Friendship! Yas!

But what makes this book completely fun is the personal touches by Hilda. We get to see photographs of her adventures, see little additions written by Hilda, either on the pages or on notes. There are her opinions on stuff, or things she would rather think is important over the whole Sparrow Scout part. In which for some part I agree. There are some things that should give you a badge. Hilda has such great adventures and does some super amazing stuff. She should be rewarded for it (or at least for most given that sometimes she just wanders off without letting anyone know what she is up to and that isn’t good).

I love that HIlda’s additions are written in the same colour as her hair! That made it even more personal and even more fun in my eyes.

All in all, if you are a fan of the show I would HIGHLY recommend this book to you. And I am just hoping that we get more books about the show. Maybe one with all the creatures living around her.
